Here are the telescopes used by Appy State. When we went to Boone we got a night tour by the Dean of the Physics Dept and head of Astronomy at the University. What a trip.

Seeing space happenings that have traveled 30 something million light years just blows my mind. How can the universe be that vast? And it continues to expand! Too much to think about.
My next trip to Boone, I hope to get to experience the observatory ,telescopes and space views. That's got to beat watching Discovery Channel.
