We celebrated Father's Day 2day because it's free day. We bought Ray gift cards to Artuzzi's(an Italian place he likes), Brusters & Krispy Kreme. and we did hit them all tonight!!
Tyler wanted to ck & see if Lefty's had a coupon, but we didn't. Ray also went to Cleveland doughnuts & Dairy Spot in Cleveland that day. Earl, Larry has officially retired, the menu doesn't have his name on it anymore but they do advertise "Mrs Peggy's Biscuits", we figured that was Larry's wife!
Lefty's actually didnt' have the same feel as the original Leftys. However, my day in Flower Branch would consist of: The breakfast plate Mr. Ray got at Lefty's. Then I would drive by Buford's football field, stop by old downtown and watch trains go by, then have a couple of Mickey's chili hot dogs. The a trip to Mountain Man BBQ for a pork sandwich. Then a trip to 5 guys for another hot dog and fries -- then stop by an ice cream place and have a shake.
Then head home, stopping at Krispy Kreame for fresh doughnuts. If it was getting late, I'd stop by Waffle House for early morning breakfast.
