Meemaw was over today. Told us that the spring is dry. Pappy has water in the bathrooms at the house because it is hooked onto her water. There may also be other issues with lines running to the house or plumbing in the house - but she wasn't real sure.
Let's pray for some rain.

I have been praying for rain and it seems to rain all around this area but we've had very little. You know we're in a serious drought when Pappy's spring goes dry. That's the first time in 50 years.
I think now would be a good time for Meemaw to move to Kingston!
Meemaw was over again today. If they sell this 2 acres across the road, then she'll "just use that money to buy a little house in Kingston."
After having spent a few hours trying to land Meemaw a rental, only to have her change her mind yet again, I'll believe it when I see it.
I'm sure she wants to get out of the present situation but when the reality sets in it's just too overwhelming. In other words it's easier to talk about it than actually put the plan in motion. But Jason we all appreciate the effort. Thanks.

When she talks about moving, renting, etc, I take Jason's advice and think of a Japanese movie, just smile!!
The latest Janie update from Meemaw seems to be that as long as Meemaw mails her money, she doesn't bother to come around. She mails all her bills to Meemaw/Pappy and they pay them.
